How Our Pricing Works
For all first-time visits (also called initial cleanings) or Deep, Move In/Out cleanings, pricing is based on an estimated number of cleaning hours needed to complete the job. This estimate is determined by the average amount of time it typically takes our team to clean and complete all standard tasks for a home of your size and condition.
Please note:
Every home is unique, and while we do our best to provide an accurate estimate, additional time may sometimes be necessary to ensure we deliver a high-quality, thorough cleaning.
If more time is required, we will always reach out to you before extending the appointment.
Additional time is charged at $50 per hour per cleaner.
We also want you to know that our cleaners are dedicated, hardworking professionals who always strive to do their best. If extra time is needed, it’s only because they are focused on providing exceptional service, not rushing through your home. We deeply appreciate your understanding and trust in our team.
Service Types
We offer the following cleaning options:
Regular (Recurring) Cleaning – to maintain cleanliness in regularly serviced homes.
Deep Cleaning – for homes that haven’t been professionally cleaned recently or need more detailed scrubbing.
Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning – empty properties or transitions.
We do not offer:
Post-construction cleaning
Hoarding cleanup
Organization services
Party cleanup or homes in post-party/disaster condition
Please note:
If you’ve recently had remodeling or renovation work done in certain areas of your home (such as a bathroom or kitchen), this does not qualify as post-construction cleaning. Instead, we treat these situations as deep cleaning, and we’ll gladly provide service with advance notice.
Important Notes About Standard vs. Deep Cleaning
Our standard cleaning is intended for homes that are already in relatively clean condition and is not suitable for removing deep dirt or buildup. It differs from deep cleaning in both intensity and time required.
If we determine that your home requires more than a standard cleaning:
We may recommend switching to a deep cleaning.
The deep cleaning may be priced differently and rescheduled for another day, depending on availability.
We reserve the right to decline service if we believe the current scope cannot be completed properly within the scheduled time.
Appointment Arrival
We strive to provide excellent service to all our customers, but we are unable to provide specific appointment times. We ask for a 30 mins window. Ex: If your appointment is scheduled to 8:00 am the technician might arrive up to 8:30 am. Please note that our estimated arrival window is subject to change due to various factors, including frequency options, schedule changes, and traffic.
We understand the importance of timely service, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. Our technicians will arrive as soon as possible within the specified arrival window to provide you with the quality service you expect from Fresh Day Cleaning Services. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our appointment arrival policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
What’s Not Included
To ensure safety and quality, the following are not included in any of our cleaning services:
Biohazard cleaning (e.g., mold, blood, vomit, animal waste)
Cleaning after parties or extremely cluttered/disaster-condition homes
High-reach areas requiring special equipment (only 2-step ladders used)
Cleaning of exterior windows or outdoor areas
Unfinished basements or mopping concrete floors
Cleaning of garages beyond basic sweeping or vacuuming (no mopping or organizing)
Dishwashing or putting away dishes
Organizing cluttered areas or folding laundry
Moving large or heavy furniture
Large-scale trash removal or bulk item disposal
Chandeliers or delicate light fixtures
If clothes or clutter are present, we may place them in a laundry basket or neatly to the side to allow for proper surface cleaning.
We can move small items like dining chairs, light trash bins, small tables, or lamps, as needed.
Overtime Policy
We estimate the number of cleaners and cleaning time based on the information you provide. If more time is required, we will:
Notify you at least 30 minutes before completion
Give you the option to approve more time at $50/hour per cleaner
Or, you can decide how you’d like us to prioritize remaining time
Cancellation and Lockout Policy
At Fresh Day, we respect and value everyone’s time—both our clients’ and our team’s. To keep things running smoothly, we ask that any cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance during business hours. This helps us avoid lost wages for our cleaners and offer the time slot to another client.
Cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a $50 service fee.
If we are unable to access your home upon arrival, or if service is declined at the door, the full price of the scheduled cleaning will be charged, as we are unable to rebook the time on such short notice.

Damages & Breakage
If we accidentally damage or break something during your cleaning, we’ll notify you right away and work with you to find a fair solution for repair or replacement. If you notice any damage we may have missed, please let us know within 24 hours.
Please note that Fresh Day Cleaning Services is not responsible for items damaged due to pre-existing instability, such as items with loose wall mounts or unstable bases.
Payment Methods
We accept:
Cash
Zelle
Debit/Credit Card (3.5% transaction fee applies)
Checks (only for regular clients)
To avoid the 3.5% card fee, we encourage clients to pay with cash or Zelle. If paying in cash, please place it in a sealed envelope and hand it to the cleaners at the end of service. Thank you for your cooperation!
Photography Policy
At Fresh Day Cleaning Services, we may take before and after photos during your initial cleaning or move-in/move-out service to help ensure quality, track progress, and uphold our cleaning standards. Occasionally, photos may also be taken during recurring appointments—especially if the home is not in its usual condition.
These photos are used strictly for internal purposes such as training, quality assurance, and verifying completed work. We never photograph personal items like family photos, valuables, or personal information.
If you prefer not to have any photos taken in your home, please contact our office before your appointment to sign a liability waiver. Please note: our satisfaction guarantee may not apply if our team is unable to document the cleaning process for internal review.
Social Media Photos
We love showcasing the quality of our work! With your explicit permission, we may take before and after photos to feature on our social media or website. These photos will never include personal items, family photos, or identifying details.
If you’d prefer not to have any photos used for marketing purposes, just let us know. We’ll always respect your wishes and your privacy.
Climate Control
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment, please set your home’s temperature to a reasonable level before our arrival. Our cleaners are unable to work in spaces that are excessively hot or cold, as it may affect their health and performance.
